Founded in 2005 by current president, Joann Cartiglia, The Queen’s Treasures is a small business helped run by a small staff located in our hometown of Stroudsburg, PA. We were established as a source for affordable yet high-quality historical 18-inch doll products such as those offered by American Girl® and other like companies. In our beginnings, we were a store front shop serving our local community, but as our customer base grew and demand for more products rose, we found ourselves integrating into a wholly online retailer.
With this newfound room for growth, we watered our roots and pushed the boundaries of what we felt ourselves capable. This led to us going beyond doll furniture and into the production of 18-inch doll clothing, accessories, and eventually the creation of our very own unique dolls.
On our tenth anniversary, The Queen’s Treasures® became the official provider of 18-inch doll furniture, clothing, and accessories for The Little House on the Prairie® after receiving official licensing. This collaboration prompted us to create our very first doll inspired after the shows main character, Laura Ingalls, and just a year later her sister, Mary Ingalls. Since then, we have curated 75 pieces in over a dozen collections inspired by Laura Ingalls Wilder's beloved stories.
The standards we have set for ourselves are always growing and we constantly ensure we are following our core requirement: our products must stimulate the kind of creative play which requires imagination instead of batteries. This ideology has driven us to focus on the quality of our products to ensure that they bring joy to any home they enter for years to come. Therefore, all our items are made of premium quality materials and must pass rigorous testing to meet or exceed safety standards in the USA, Canada, and Europe. To this end, the president of the company also proudly serves on the Toy Association's Legislative Committee, working to ensure toy safety in the U.S and abroad.
We have appeared in numerous tradeshows since the launch of our company, including the New York International Toy Fair, American Specialty Toy Association Show, and other educational fairs. In the spirit of giving back and gratitude for its success, the company donates to charitable causes such as The Toy Foundation, Delivering Goods, The Dr. Jane Goodall Foundation, The Salvation Army, and AWSOM animal shelters through a portion of sales or gifts.
