Welcome to The Queen’s Treasures®, where we create heirloom-quality, historically inspired toys designed to spark a lifetime of creative play. We believe that the best toys are powered by a child’s imagination—not by batteries.
Our journey began in 2005 with a vision from our founder, Joann Cartiglia. What started as a humble dream operating out of a home in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, with just a few unique designs sold on eBay and Amazon, has blossomed into an internationally recognized brand. Today, we are proud to be a premier designer of premium, historically accurate 18-inch doll furniture, clothes, accessories, and collectible dolls.
Our products are intentionally designed to be fully compatible with 18-inch American Girl® dolls and 15-inch Bitty Baby® dolls, offering families exceptional craftsmanship at an accessible price.
Expanding Our Kingdom of Play
As our reputation for detail and quality exploded, so did our community of loyal customers. Our growth caught the attention of major national retailers, allowing us to expand our collections from 18 inch doll furniture into a complete universe of masterfully crafted doll clothing, realistic accessories, and eventually, our very own line of beautiful signature Little House on the Prairie® dolls.
On our 10th anniversary, The Queen’s Treasures® achieved a dream milestone by becoming an officially licensed designer and creator for Little House on the Prairie®. This incredible collaboration inspired us to craft our very first historical doll based on the beloved author and main character, Laura Ingalls, followed a year later by her sister, Mary Ingalls. Since then, we have continued to bring Laura Ingalls Wilder’s timeless pioneer stories to life through an expanding collection of beautifully detailed historical toys.
Navigating Global Trade with Innovation & Local Spirit
The world of international retail is constantly shifting. To buffer our customers against unpredictable global supply chains and rising international trade tariffs, we have proactively pivoted toward creative, locally driven business solutions.
In October 2025, we officially expanded our physical presence by opening The Mercantile at The Queen’s Treasures—a sweeping, 5,000-square-foot storefront right in the heart of Historic Ticonderoga, New York.
Alongside the launch of the brick-and-mortar storefront, 2025 marked the debut of our highly anticipated Little House on the Prairie® Pantry line. This "pioneer-approved" collection features delicious baking mixes, artisanal jams, and gourmet goodies derived from genuine historic recipes. By expanding into the specialty food market and manufacturing closer to home, we have successfully diversified our operations, mitigated tariff damage, and anchored our business firmly in the domestic marketplace.
Our Core Promise: Imagination over Batteries
At the heart of everything we make is a strict commitment to old-fashioned, open-ended play. We believe toys should invite children to create their own stories. To ensure our pieces bring joy to your family for generations, all of our items are handcrafted from premium, authentic materials.
We hold ourselves to the highest global standards:
- Uncompromising Safety: Every single item undergoes rigorous safety testing to meet or exceed strict toy safety standards in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
- Ethical Manufacturing: We carefully vet and partner only with responsible, ethical factories that share our dedication to quality.
- Industry Leadership: Our commitment to safety goes all the way to the top. The president of The Queen’s Treasures® proudly serves on the Toy Association's Legislative Committee, actively working to protect and champion children's toy safety both in the U.S. and abroad.
You can routinely find us sharing our passion for play at major industry events, including the New York International Toy Fair and the American Specialty Toy Retailing Association (ASTRA) Show.
Moving Forward with a Grateful Heart
We have recently relocated our headquarters to Historic Ticonderoga, New York, where the rich local history perfectly mirrors the stories we aim to tell through our toys.
We firmly believe in giving back to the global community that has supported us. Thanks to your purchases, we proudly donate a portion of our sales and products to meaningful charitable causes, including The Toy Foundation, Delivering Good, The Dr. Jane Goodall Foundation, The Salvation Army, local animal shelters like AWSOM, and emergency relief efforts providing toys to refugee children affected by the war in Ukraine.
