Great stand with a classy finish. I found that this stand is better for some 18" style dolls than others. I purchased this stand to go with my Laura Ingalls doll which has a similar body type to AG dolls. The stand would hold her for display on a sold surface, but she was rather unbalanced on the carpeted floor where her wagon is displayed. For me this was not a problem as I switched out this 4 1/2" diameter stand for a 5 1/2" diameter stand holding a slim line 18" doll that I also own. The slim line body type of the other doll is a perfectly fine match for the stand, even on the carpet. At 4 1/2 inches it is less obtrusive paired with a doll that sometimes wears modern cut clothes. Great Stand! Great price, however if the stand is to be used on carpet with an AG body type doll, a child might find it a bit top heavy.

I bought these doll stands to replace a faulty one which I received just before Christmas for my daughter's Madame Alexander 18 in doll. These stands are sturdy and hold my daughters dolls without a lot of fuss. She loves having them to set her dolls up for interaction or to display when she isn't playing with them. The construction is very sturdy and I can see these lasting until my daughter grows out of these dolls. Will purchase more of this product for her cousins dolls too! I will update this review if anything changes but so far...I'm impressed. (Amazon customer)
